Musculoskeletal Care

The aim of this block is to enable you to make progress towards achieving the ‘Outcomes for Graduates’ defined by the General Medical Council in the context of experience in care of patients presenting with injuries and conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system.  Contrary to a popular stereotype, much of musculoskeletal care is diagnostic, clinic, or ward based.  A lot of treatment is conservative or non-operative.  We aim to offer a broad experience of the full range of orthopaedics, however, if you are to get the most out of the Block you will need to be proactive in seeking out learning opportunities.
