Gastrointestinal Care

The aim of the Gastrointestinal Block is to enable you to make progress towards achieving the ‘Outcomes for Graduates’ defined by the General Medical Council in the context of experience in the care of patients with gastrointestinal, endocrine and renal conditions.  You will work with consultants and their teams in a variety of clinical environments, including hospital wards, outpatient clinics, endoscopy suite and the dialysis unit.  In order to get the most out of the Block you will need to be proactive and seek out learning opportunities.
