The British Association of Urological Surgeons Medical Student Competition

Medical Student Essay Competition

Medical students are invited to submit a 1500-word essay for the competition.  The topic for 2017 is:

"Urological technology - where will we be in 20 years?"

Students must be currently enrolled at a medical school in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or the Irish Republic - entries from students attending medical school in overseas countries will not be considered.

The author of the essay judged to be the most outstanding in each medical school will receive a prize of £100, and will be entered into the national competition.

The authors of the two best essays will receive a prize of guest registration for and a grant towards the cost of attending the BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre (SECC) Glasgow (26 - 29 June 2017) where they will each be presented with a certificate of merit.  The winning essays will be published on the BAUS website.
